Breeders' Cup Classic 2018 Final Odds

By Evan Chronis October 24, 2018

For a race that boasts the most expensive purse in American thoroughbred racing, it's no surprise that the Breeders' Cup® Classic is one of the most popular betting sites during the season.

The champion-crowning event holds a $6 million purse this year, with all 14 starters eyeing for the big prize. The Classic has been a fairly unpredictable race throughout it's history, though, and this year should be no different. While there are favorites going on (Accelerate being the main attention grabber), the odds don't always tell the story throughout race day.

With the race less than two weeks away, let's look at the final odds for the Classic at Churchill Downs®, per Sportsbook.ag

Breeders' Cup 2018 Odds(as of October 30):

  • Accelerate — 5/2
  • West Coast — 5/1
  • McKinzie — 6/1
  • Mind Your Biscuits — 6/1
  • Catholic Boy — 13/2
  • Mendelssohn — 8/1
  • Yoshida — 10/1
  • Thunder Snow — 14/1
  • Roaring Lion — 15/1
  • Discreet Lover — 20/1
