Heading to the Del Mar Race Track in California this November? Well, if you aren’t quite sure yet, below are some things that might entice you to go for the 2017 Breeders’ Cup World Championships®. Not only will history, once again, be made on the track throughout the weekend, but the city itself has plenty of attractive qualities.

Starting with the basics, Del Mar in located in San Diego County along the beautiful California coastline. According to the 2014 census the population is estimated to be around 4,311 and when races come into town during the summer and fall months, there are plenty more people to interact with.
